  • ROMO | SUITE 260

Open House to celebrate the meeting of two minds; this innovative collaboration between Zinc Textile and Belgian studio Dieter Vander Velpen Architects fuses the rich textures of fabrics with the visionary spatial thinking of architecture. Together they create immersive environments that blur the line between fluidity and form. This dialogue between disciplines has culminated in five new innovative fabric collections developed, unsurprisingly, with an architect’s precision. Each fabric has a purpose, conceived as an integral part of a building’s form. Natural materials feature prominently in Dieter’s work: the hollows of travertine, the swirls of marble, and the organic flowing grain of wood, all of which have informed the designs’ rhythmic patterns, tonal palettes, and distinctive character.
