Inspired by the calming essence of nature, James Dunlop’s Spring Release brings classic patterns and coordinating plains to life in a fresh, nature-inspired color palette.
Pattern sits at the heart of the collection; depicting botanic motifs in gestural brushstrokes, our hero print evokes the whimsical movement of a cottage garden landscape. Whilst a modern rendition of a classic bold stripe in our signature pure linen quality and a delicately stenciled tropical foliage in a gentle palette ensure biophilic design meets timeless elegance.
The tranquillity of our outdoors is expressed in the fresh color palette of moss greens, denim blues, and warm earthen neutrals, creating interior spaces that feel both rejuvenating and enduring. Expertly developed within the James Dunlop studio to complement a vast array of design styles, the trans-seasonal palette nods to the principles of biophilic design whilst blending traditional and contemporary aesthetics.
Integrating the enduring beauty of nature, our foundational plains offer attributes such as FibreGuard stain resistance, washability, and fire retardant to ensure our textiles
guarantee practicality without compromising on style. Additionally, textiles within the Spring Release showcase the aesthetic of luxurious natural fibers in predominantly
synthetic compositions with an emphasis on sustainable fibre content.
Designed within the James Dunlop studio and produced in collaboration with our global supply chain, our textiles are expertly developed to be confidently lived on within the
family home or commercial space.
Charleston
Charleston by James Dunlop nods to the Bloomsbury artists’ decorative painterly style, bringing to life a whimsical garden scene inspired by Charleston House and Gardens. Composed of gestural botanical motifs embedded in abstract brushstrokes, Charleston invites a joyful energy to residential spaces. The essence of the artist’s original hand painting and sketch-like quality is replicated through screen printing in the UK on to a soft cotton linen drapery textile in three custom colorways.
Kyoto Stripe
Woven in Turkey in our signature pure linen Kyoto quality, Kyoto Stripe is a classic drapery stripe suitable for interiors from the country to the coastline. Our washable, wide width Kyoto Stripe is yarn dyed with an elegant, tumbled finish to bring a relaxed sense of luxury to the home.
Glamour
Glamour is a plain wide width drapery with a twill weave construction. A classic polyester cotton blend textile, Glamour’s extensive mineral-based palette makes it ideal for any residential scheme.
Dodge
Dodge emulates the sophisticated look and soft touch of a classic wool twill upholstery but is woven in 100% recycled polyester. Dodge is further enhanced by FibreGuard’s Stain Resistant properties, making it an ideal upholstery for commercial or residential specification.
