December 5th marked a special evening at the Washington Design Center, as we hosted our annual Holiday Fête, a glittering event that not only showcased the pinnacle of interior design artistry but also championed a heartfelt cause – supporting Children’s National Hospital. This year, we are thrilled to announce that the event raised over an impressive $12,000, setting a new benchmark in our philanthropic endeavors.
In collaboration with our esteemed sponsor, Home & Design Magazine, the event brought together the crème de la crème of the DC area’s interior designers. Each designer collaborated with our showrooms to curate mesmerizing holiday tablescapes, transforming the space into a festive wonderland. The themes ranged from the dramatic and romantic allure of Moulin Rouge to the whimsical and vibrant world of the circus. These stunning displays were not only a feast for the eyes but also a testament to the incredible talent and creativity of our design community.
Home & Design Magazine played a pivotal role in capturing the essence of the event. They skillfully photographed each tablescape, ensuring that the artistry and dedication of the designers are preserved and celebrated in a future edition of their magazine. This collaboration highlights our shared commitment to promoting excellence in design and supporting meaningful causes.
For those who missed the live spectacle, there is still an opportunity to witness this design extravaganza. The tablescapes will remain on display until Friday, December 9th, 2023. It’s a perfect chance to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit and draw inspiration for your festive decor.
We also encourage continued support for Children’s National Hospital. The donation link remains active, and we invite those who haven’t contributed yet to join this noble cause. Every donation makes a difference in the lives of children in need.
We are immensely grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this year’s Holiday Fête. Your participation and generosity have made a significant impact. We invite you to share your memories and experiences from the event using the hashtag #WDCHolidayFete. Your posts are not just cherished memories but also a beacon of support and community spirit. We look forward to reposting them on the WDC social media profiles, celebrating our collective achievement.
Once again, thank you for making the Holiday Fête a splendid success. Here’s to many more years of design excellence, community, and giving back.
Thank you to all of the amazing designers who created this year’s table designs!
