Inside / Outside Sales Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a DC Metro Inside / Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic Michael-Cleary DC showroom team!

At Michael-Cleary our goal is to be an inviting, creative, and collaborative design partner for our clients. The candidate would participate in our collective team effort while also contributing independently. They would have a positive attitude, established A&D client relationships, and a friendly disposition. They would be self-motivated, focused, a team player, possess problem-solving skills, multi-tasking abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine thirst for driving sales.

* Responsible for all DC Metro outside sales with a mix of residential and hospitality clients.
* Travel for product presentations at clients offices
* Be a brand ambassador and a trusted resource to clients on all represented furniture and fabric lines
* Manage /maintain active provided client list
* Responsible for all aspects of sales process; selling, pulling memos, order entry, follow up, processing and tracking
* Attend industry events

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* 2-3 years of experience in an outside sales position for the A&D trade industry
* Established A&D client relationships is required
* Experience and/or knowledge of Interior Design.
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook), required
* Follow-up, organization, planning, and documentation skills
* Strong work ethic, ambition, and drive
* Driver’s License, insurance and car required
