In 1977, David Sutherland brought luxury furnishings from across the country to Texas by opening David Sutherland Showroom’s first location in Houston, and then opening his iconic flagship showroom in Dallas. A pioneer in the industry, Sutherland was the first to bring high-end designs from New York and Los Angeles to the booming Texas market. Over the years, David Sutherland Showrooms and Sutherland Perennials Studios continue to open in markets across the globe and serve the international design community.
