Omni is bold, sophisticated, powerful design crafted from an array of stunning raw materials. Its primary adornment comes from the rich, dappled character or highly figured veneers and the play of light on flat planes and curved surfaces.
Thank you designers of DC Design House 2016 for selecting Century Furniture

Utilizing a range of materials and exquisite craftsmanship, Century defines Modern with stunning confidence.
Drawing inspiration from Italian and Scandina-vian references, Century Furniture launches Corso, a decidedly modern collection with stunning wood work and hardware details. Named for the main street in the historical centre of Rome, the Via del Corso, this collection has a connection to the past and yet it is forward looking.
Rendered in oak solids and oak veneers and featuring a narrow heart oak book matched veneer pattern on key pieces, Corso is graphic and bold. Selected for it’s third dimension, texture, oak offers extreme versatility, allowing consumers to paint, ceruse, or use a higher sheen wood stain to achieve a variety of looks.
“Our muse for Corso was a young woman, who we envisioned sitting at a café along the Via del Corso having an espresso. With her in mind, the pieces of Corso took shape and we creat-ed a strong, curated collection that can be formal or casual, and works back to our other modern collections,” says Chad Philips, Director of Century’s Case goods. “The result are pieces that can move from formal to casual, feminine to more masculine depending on how the customer orders them.”
Two new finishes are featured throughout the collection, Blonde cerused and Black cerused. Blonde cerused is a lighter honey toned finish, which gives the pieces a casual feeling. Black ce-rused is a deep ebony color that really allows the wax hang up to highlight the grains of the narrow heart oak veneers making them focal points in the room. Throughout the display finishes are mixed liberally showcasing the versatility of Corso.
Railroad Silver hardware and ferrules are used throughout the collection, along with oil rubbed bronze and brass metal ac-cents Railroad silver was selected for it’s ability to work well with both brass and silver metals, again emphasizing the ease of mixing these pieces with other furniture. Corso features over ten different styles of hardware, accentuating the curated feel of the collection.
Urban Bohemian. Swirling with saturated earthy colors Century expands on authentic and artisanal. Rooted in noble textiles - fine Italian leathers, authentic Belgian linens - this lifestyle is comfortable mixing the fine with the more causal.
Effortless yet very layered, the rooms have a dreamy romantic quality. Grounded by drier finishes and earthy tones, the urban bohemian lifestyle exudes a wanderlust and carefree way of living.

This spring Century explores the ideas of confidence, continuity, and collected wisdom. From an urban bohemian lifestyle infused with earthy and saturated colors to a story of the modern curated home, the presentations depict less of the “what we put in our homes” and more of the “how we live and put it together.” The rooms feel effortless but are layered with subtle nuance and details and showcase the strength of Century’s finish and fabric offering. Mixing Thomas O’Brien pieces with new Bob Timber-lake pieces and other new items from the Maison ‘47 Collection, Century artfully shows us how to create collected rooms that feel lived in rather than decorated.
The Curated Home is all about this concept of home as a gallery, an ever changing space where furniture moves around as needed instead of being set in one place to live in perpetuity. Rooms should evolve as we collect and curate our lives through time. The colors here are inspired by mineral hues. A punch of citrine awakens the grays and spa blues in one room, while in another gallery Rose Quartz acts as the neutral mixing with taupe and beige. #CenturyCurated #Citrine #Rosequartz #Madebyhand
Organic modern is the juxtaposition of rus-tic more casual settings with modern things. A contemporary sofa against a planked wall. We were inspired by William Wurster, an early American architect, and his work. Ivory, taupes and powdery and slatey blues mix on modern upholstery. #CenturyOrganicModern #artofmixing #rootedinhistory #Madebyhand
Not meant to conjure a physical place, Century’s Resort Lifestyle is more about a state of mind. Nostalgic prints made youthful and modern with coloration and scale mix with a range of furniture styles showcased in Century’s white lacquer and a new finish, Eden, to create playful rooms. This lifestyle is all about not taking things too seriously, kicking up your feet and living the good life, wher-ever that might be. #CenturyResort #Eden #RobertAllen #MadcapCottage #Madebyhand
