Pindler now offers award-winning Network Collection by Richard Frinier and Sunbrella®

Industry leader in decorative fabrics offers new collection inspired by today’s digital landscape

MOORPARK, Calif. (Oct. 22, 2019) — Pindler, an industry leader and international wholesaler of decorative fabrics, is now offering the award-winning Network collection of Sunbrella® fabrics, designed by Richard Frinier. Inspired by the fast-paced world of social media networking and the growing human obsession with online instant gratification, the collection features a subtle yet transformative layering of constructions, patterns, and colors that capture and suspend the attention span.

Each design features digitally morphed and stylized graphic imagery that reflects Frinier’s interpretation of shared digital content. The patterns capture the world’s digital landscape, translating internet lexicon into one-of-a-kind, memorable textile creations that are universal and immediately distinguishable by design.

“I especially like the range of color contrasts we were able to achieve — from more subtle tone-on-tone hues to experimenting with a wavelength of frequencies and fusion of color combinations that adapt easily across any upholstery application for both interior and exterior spaces,” Frinier said.

The Network collection includes eight patterns in 11 colorways:

  • Metrics is an understated base cloth construction that complements all designs in the collection.
  • Hashtag plays on various elements of the collection with a softscape reference to its popular social media namesake and function.
  • Online is a directional pattern with random intensities and frequencies.
  • Code translates open-source lines of digital information into asymmetrical stripes.
  • WiFi connects the mood of digital networking with everyday lifestyles through unique computer-generated shapes, pixelated elements and high-speed compatibility.
  • Algorithm visually captures computer configurations and transmissions in an abstract, intelligently styled and medium-scaled pattern.
  • Dot Com and its enterprising and small, yet open, pattern work reflect the intriguing and addictive nature of e-commerce activity.
  • Vector is a graphic pattern inspired by a streaming system of unique visitor data input and output with a sonic array of start and endpoints that create artful shapes and angles in between.

“This is Richard’s sixth collection with Pindler, and we are very excited to bring it to the design market,” said Pindler Design Manger Sarah Williamson. “His collections are always tremendously popular, and with the relatable inspiration and eye-catching patterns of the Network collection, it’s sure to be another must-have for designers.”
