Outside Sales Representative - John Rosselli



John Rosselli and Associates is currently seeking a full-time Outside Sales Representative to join our Washington, DC team. The primary objective of this role is to act as an ambassador of John Rosselli, showcasing our Partners' vast array of products to Trade Professionals in our MidĀ­Atlantic territory. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates initiative, is a creative and energetic storyteller, and is ultimately driven by sales. Our Outside Sales Representative will primarily work on the road, with full access and support of our DC showroom, based in the Washington Design Center. They must be willing to travel, and create/sustain a clientele database across our territory, which includes Maryland, North Virginia, Washington D.C., and Delaware.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Schedule and maintain a full calendar of appointments, averaging 15 to 20 presentations per week, and act as a liaison between vendor, showroom, and client.
  • Host meetings introducing Vendors and Clients, attend events on a seasonal basis, and participate in trade shows as needed.
  • Provide accurate, and timely, monthly reports to management and corporate office, including call reporting and business updates.
  • Request sales materials to be created, and curated, for specific client presentations from the Vendor, and/or seek approval for self-tailored materials.
  • Conduct follow-ups for all meetings and presentations.


Strong computer skills are necessary, including knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, excel, and PowerPoint). QuickBooks experience is required. Minimum experience of (2) years in Sales, and an extensive client list, is preferred.
